Chug along Lafayette's Bayou Vermilion with a park ranger from the Acadian Cultural Center of Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. Cruises cast off from Vermilionville Heritage & Folklife Park of the Bayou Vermilion District (right next door to the Acadian Cultural Center). For the boat tour only: $12 adults, $10 seniors sixty-two and older, $8 children four to eighteen, children three and under free. For the boat tour, a self-guided tour of Vermilion Heritage & Folklife Park, and lunch at Vermilionville's restaurant: $27 adults, $25 seniors sixty-two and older, $19 children four to eighteen, children three and under free.
